What Is Office Based Surgery?

Belle Terre Surgery Center is an office based surgery center. Typical office based surgical procedures include, joint manipulation, fracture reductions, large joint dislocations, hernia repair, biopsies, colonoscopies, and aesthetic procedures including liposuction.

Belle Terre Surgery Center has surpassed the State of Florida's rigorous requirements for licensure and can perform up to Level 2 surgeries, including MUA. Belle Terre utilizes equipment and medications that would be found in ambulatory surgical centers and hospitals, including oxygen, monitors, crash cart medications, AED, suction/ventilation.

Exceptional Staff

Our medical director, Cory Harow, MD, is a residency trained, board certified emergency physician. Dr Harow is also certified in MUA. Dr Harow's responsibilities include screening all patients for potential health risks to either the anestheisa or the MUA itself.

Other members of our staff include our anesthetists, and recovery nurses, all of whom are ACLS certified. Our center has performed hundreds of MUA's and continues to be the leader in safety.
